Save the Date: June 6 - 13, 2010
The planning for this year's week of Sonoma County Pride events is underway. We'll start off with a bang, with the return of the Sonoma County Pride Parade along Main Street in downtown Guerneville on Sunday, June 6th, 2010, followed by a Celebration on the grounds of the Guerneville Lodge, with music, dancing, wine, beer, food, a children's area, vendors and information booths, and a Committment Ceremony.
The Sonoma County Pride Planning Committee is excited to have this annual event again this year, in Guerneville, at the heart of the Russian River, the site of so much of Sonoma County's LGBTQ community history! Both the Parade and Celebration exceeded our expectations for attendance last year -- and we're planning for an even larger croud this year!
Pride Fundraisers, Comedy Night Announced!

Sonoma County Pride is a week long celebration of the joy and diversity of our community for Sonoma County’s LGBTQ Community, Friends and Family. Saturday night, June 12, 2010 is the 16th Annual Sonoma County Pride Comedy Night. Pride Comedy Night's opener will be Daniel Leary, a cute drama-degreed fellow now based in LA. The headliner will be the ever-popular Vickie Shaw, returning for her 3rd appearance at Sonoma County Pride Comedy Night. We will hold a raffle at Pride Comedy Night to help raise funds for 2011's Pride Celebration.
Plans are in the works for another Pride Interfaith Service to close out the week.
